BECOMING VICTORIA WOOD directed by Catherine Abbott [in cinemas now]

The 90-minute film is produced by Rogan Scotland, part of BAFTA-winning Rogan Productions, in association with Phil McIntyre TV and distributed by Dartmouth Films

Told in her own words and through the voices of those who knew her best, the film uncovers the formative experiences and personal battles that powered Victoria’s unmatched ability to make the nation laugh. 

Jessica barden brings to life extracts from letters, interviews and Victoria Wood’s own personal archive in specially filmed scenes combining readings with dramatisation in this feature length documentary ‘Becoming Victoria Wood’ With appearances from DAWN FRENCH, JENNIFER SAUNDERS, MAXINE PEAKE, MICHAEL BALL, JOAN ARMATRADING & JASPER CARROTT. now in cinemas, ahead of its television premiere on U&Gold in February.
